Job Summary: The Front Desk Staff position is responsible for overseeing day to day business operations pertinent to client accounts, inventory control, processing payments, and light facility maintenance (sweeping, vacuuming, cleaning equipment, etc) . With this position you will have access to the facility for training.

Essential functions: This position will require sitting, standing, competency with computers and telephones. Must be a people person, memorize names/faces, histories, establishing rapport, task oriented. No procrastinators need apply. This position limited only by the desires and capabilities of the person within that role.

Expectations: This individual should be immersed in the PHP culture to better identify our key demographic and establish credibility with our clients. This will include participating in company events and outings, as well as taking group training classes alongside other coaches and clients alike.

Scope of Position:
Peak Human Performance (PHP) is a fitness training facility that specializes in athlete performance.  Our philosophy is simple; “work harder, work smarter.”  We are looking for assistant strength and conditioning (S&C) specialists to join our team, who will reflect our culture of confidence, enthusiasm and motivation.
Job Description:
PHP is looking for highly qualified individuals in the fitness industry who poses a strong desire to be part of a winning team and are competitive by nature.  This position will require S&C specialists to assist in facilitating workouts in S&C programs for male and female athletes, ranging in age from 10-18 years.  Primary components of this position include coaching athletes on proper lifting techniques, running mechanics, motivating and critiquing athletes, recording performance stats to measure progress and communicating with head coaches about the development of their athletes.  The assistant S&C specialist will aide in the functional application of programs designed by the head S&C coaching staff.  All coaches will be expected to maintain positive, professional relationships with the athletes, as well as the athlete’s family members and sport’s coaches, while portraying and upholding the culture of PHP.
Experience:
•    Must have an active accredited personal training or sports performance certification from one of the following:
o    NPTI, NSCA, NASM, ACE, ACSM
•    Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred, not required
•    Up to date First Aid, CPR and AED certifications
•    Minimum 1-2 years as a fitness training professional required
•    Experience working with young adults and/or athletes is highly desired
•    Experience working with large groups in a training or coaching environment highly desired
•    Leadership experience preferred
Requirements:
•    Must promote a healthy and active lifestyle
•    Familiar with kinesiology, anatomy, and physiology
•    Familiar with basic Power Lifts and Olympic Lifts
•    Candidates must:
o    Be open to learning new training techniques and fitness methods
o    Have a strong work ethic and enhanced critical thinking skills

o    Have great interpersonal communication skills, and conduct themselves with integrity and discipline
o    Confident in some clerical skills such as recording, tallying and analyzing progress in performance

Scope of Position for Pilates:
We take an athletic approach to the classic Pilates method.  We focus on mobility, flexibility, stability and strength while properly progressing clients.  We are looking for intelligent and energetic Pilates Instructors who can teach a pilates reformer class of 6 as well as private training sessions.

Job Description for Pilates
PHP is looking for highly qualified individuals in the Pilates industry who have an intelligent, energetic and creative approach to programming their Pilates reformer classes and properly progressing clientele.  We have a very tight knit pilates community and require instructors who are motivating, inviting and energetic about joining our pilates family.  Primary components of this position include teaching classes of 6 individuals on the reformer as well as being open to teaching private sessions.

Experience Requirements
•    2 yrs of teaching
•    Minimum-Balanced Body Pilates Training Level 1 Certification

METCON

Is a metabolic conditioning class that combines power, endurance, and strength to complete as many exercises as possible with little rest. This will maximize metabolic output during and after the workout. MET-CON uses body weight, dumbbells, kettlebells, bands, TRX’s, SLEDs, and much more for a killer calorie burn.

It’s Challenging, Effective, and AWESOME!

Everest

Want to know what it feels like to climb Mount Everest? This may not be the actual mountain but it will certainly make you question your choice to attempt it. To join this class you must be able to run with no injuries or limitations. Big heavy lifts, body weight movements (push ups, pull ups), sleds, rowers, sprints and more.

Barbell

Barbell is a bust your a$$, up tempo, music blasting, muscular strength and endurance group fitness style class. Using traditional weight bars and aerobic boxes you will definitely feel the burn as we target one body part at a time working it to fatigue. There is no filler here, just some heavy weights and hard work!

Sweat is a treadmill based CARDIO class. This is the High Intensity Interval training class that puts all others to shame. It will have you gasping for air, swearing out loud and burning CRAZY calories all day long. Designed for runners of all types, sweat teaches you how to do time intervals properly using various inclines and speeds you might otherwise not think possible. Come sweat and learn how to make running fun again!

Punch
